Down By the Bay Cafe

The all you can eat Shrimp on Friday night is the best! Cheeseburgers are great! Beautiful veiw of the Rose Garden too. Call ahead for orders to go. Great for a picnic down by the bay. We have only eaten there once, so far, but the food, & service were good. Being so close to the the bay and seeing the water, is always a plus. We found the menu to be a little skimpy on selections, but seeing how small the restaurant is, (about 5, or 6 tables) they may not have room in the kitchen to prepare enough different foods at the same time to enlarge the menu. THE best fried shrimp in the Mobile Bay area. And the service is always personal. Sorry to hear an illess in the family has closed the doors for right now (Aug 2009).
